Newark, Ohio – February 3, 2026
 
Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. CEO/President, Timothy J. Young, announced today that Michael Albanese has accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer. As the Chief Operating Officer, Michael will oversee the organization’s administrative and operational functions. He began his duties on February 2, 2026.
 
Michael Albanese previously served as the organization’s Vice President of Asset Protection and Risk Management. He recently earned his Master of Science in Management from Ohio University's College of Business. He also serves as Treasurer of the LAPP Board of Trustees. Michael spends his free time exercising and spending time with his children in Newark, Ohio.
