“Doc Talk: See the Difference - Understanding Eyelid Surgery”
August 31, 2026 – Mount Vernon, OH – If your eyelids are causing obstructed vision, this educational event may help. Blepharoplasty, commonly known as eyelid surgery, can help restore your vision and refresh the appearance of the eyes by removing excess skin. Join us for a free Doc Talk on Tuesday, September 29, from 5 to 6 pm to learn more.
Open to the community, this event will be held in the Wright Family Medical Pavilion (WFMP), 2nd-floor classroom. As you enter the building on the same floor as the Birthing Center, take a right, and the event will be in the first room on the left.
Suzanne Helming, DO, joined the Department of Specialty Care- Otolaryngology team at Knox Community Hospital in 2013. She earned her medical degree from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky. She completed her residency at the McClaren- Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. Dr. Helming offers advanced ear, nose, and throat treatment options like head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery. Dr. Helming's advanced training has increased ENT services and procedures. It has improved the quality of life for many patients in the community.
