Housekeeping Attendant

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming environment for everyone who visits the Inn. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining our guest rooms, lobby, and shared public areas. This job requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a courteous, helpful attitude toward our guests.
Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel cleanliness standards, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Replenish room amenities like soaps, towels, and coffee supplies.
• Clean public spaces daily, including the lobby, entryways, public restrooms, and corridors.
• Handle daily laundry tasks, which include washing, drying, folding, and organizing towels and bed linens.
• Greet guests politely and respond to any special guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or broken items to management.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure all daily cleaning assignments are completed efficiently.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions carefully.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift items throughout the entire shift.
• Excellent time-management skills to complete assigned rooms within specified timeframes.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Previous cleaning or hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; we are happy to train the right person.
