Secretary - part time

Acceptable Education, Training, and Experience: 

  • Good people skills and previous work experience with good attendance

  • Highly proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to handle multi-phone line systems

  • Ability to handle administrative requests with attention to detail

  • Efficiency and effectiveness in completing tasks

  • Experience with receptionist duties

  • Willingness to cross-train in secretarial/administrative duties

• Satisfactory FBI and BCI background check, drug screen, and reference checking
 
Description:       Provides secretarial support for nursing and public safety programs at the KTC Extension Campus, 1481 Yauger Road. This is a part-time position and does not include benefits.
 

Essential Functions Include:

  1. Welcomes visitors by greeting them; answering or referring inquiries; giving directions to and within facilities, and managing access-controlled doors.  

  2. Assists potential students.

  3. Processes adult learner payments by receipting monies; processing credit card transactions.

  4. Assists with maintaining adult learner accounts.

  5. Maintains security by following school procedures.

  6. Protects student and staff privacy
