Ribbon Cutting at Hampton Inn Mount Vernon
Join us in celebrating the opening of Hampton Inn Mount Vernon, located at 1560 Venture Drive, Mount Vernon with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 pm. An open house celebration will be from 4 pm to 7 pm., offering refreshments, private tour of the hotel, and bring your business cards to enter into a prize drawing. All are welcome to attend, and we look forward to seeing everyone there for this exciting ribbon cutting celebration.
39th Anniversary Celebration - WNZR
Join WNZR for a special celebration on Wednesday, October 1st! On Wednesday, October 1st, the WNZR staff will celebrate the station?s 39th Anniversary! You are invited to our 90+9 ice cream giveaway! On Wednesday October 1st, from 4pm ? 6pm, we will be handing out 99 cups of ice cream courtesy of Round Hill Dairy in the chapel parking lot of Mount Vernon Nazarene University! You can enjoy a variety of different ice cream flavors, grab a WNZR promo item, pose for a pic with Big Blue and our Big Blue Crew, sing our birthday song for a WNZR Guitar Flyswatter, and listen to fun tunes that recap our 39 years on the air. Come out to celebrate on Wednesday October 1st from 4pm to 6pm at MVNU, 800 Martinsburg Road in Mount Vernon. Each day offers the choice of traditional road routes or routes almost exclusively on the Ohio to Erie Trail.
