Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Grand Opening for Sweet Street Soda & Candy Shoppe
Join us for a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration for Sweet Street Soda & Candy Shoppe on Tuesday, July 28th at 11 am. They are located at 1 E. High Street, Mount Vernon. Sweet Street Soda & Candy Shoppe sells craft sodas, nostalgic and trending candy, mystery bags, Playmobil products, Ty beanies and more! This event is free and open to the public.
Educators' Breakfast 2026
Each year the Knox County Chamber of Commerce welcomes new educators to Knox County by hosting a breakfast. The breakfast offers businesses the opportunity to meet these educators and show support for their important role of teaching the next generation of leaders. Guest speaker: Dr. Barry, President of Central Ohio Technical College Register by Friday, July 31 to reserve your seat. Cancellations after July 31, and no-shows will be invoiced.

Ribbon Cutting for KCH Dept. of Primary Care - Internal Medicine
Join us for a ribbon cutting and reopening of Knox Community Hospital's Internal Medicine clinic on Thursday, August 27th at 3 pm. They are located at 1661 Venture Drive, Suite A, Mount Vernon. Guests will be greeted by clinic staff and offered tours of the newly renovated space. Attendees will also get to meet Dr. William Addington, Jackie Neighbarger, and Kevin Shields. Enjoy light refreshments and network with other community members. ?This event is free and open to the public.

Norton Street, Mount Vernon. Networking and face time is very important for your business! Business Boost is a true networking opportunity where you will be going around the room meeting people, exchanging business cards, and sharing your elevator speech! How many times have you heard, ''I didn't know your company did that service?'' If you are seeking ways to share your products and services, don't miss the Chamber's Business Boost. You are encouraged to bring business cards, brochures, promotional items, or other items that you can distribute to all attendees. Attendance is approximately 30 so bring enough materials to distribute. Held three times a year. This event includes opportunities to: Form relationships that will boost your business. Meet fellow Chamber members and staff. Teach us how to be the best ally for your business. Bring plenty of business cards to hand out and we encourage distribution of brochures and promotional items.
