Custodian
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support the overall upkeep of the property.
- Handle waste disposal efforts efficiently.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide porter services as required, assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment when necessary.
- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and custodial practices.
- Experience in industrial cleaning environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care procedures including buffing and waxing is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Part-time 15–20 hours per week.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
