The Freedom Center Earns Three-Year CARF Accreditation
 
Mount Vernon, Ohio – January 2, 2026 – CARF International announced that Alcohol and Drug Freedom Center of Knox County has been accredited for a period of three years for its Case Management/Services Coordination, Intensive Outpatient Treatment, Outpatient Treatment and Prevention programs. The latest accreditation is the fourth consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has given to Alcohol and Drug Freedom Center of Knox County.

This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be given to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has gone through a rigorous peer-review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.

Alcohol and Drug Freedom Center of Knox County is a
not-for-profit organization that has been providing Case Management/Services Coordination, Intensive Outpatient Treatment, Outpatient Treatment and Prevention in the Mount Vernon area since 1977.
