Stream Quality Monitoring
Calling all Citizen Scientist!!! Have you ever wondered what lives in the river? Did you know that by the different types of animals found in the river we can determine if the water is clean or dirty? Join the Ohio Department of Natural Resources' Scenic Rivers Program staff as they teach you how to tell the health of the river by the different types of bugs you find. You will also have an opportunity to sign up as a volunteer to help them in their endeavor of conserving Ohio's most pristine rivers. Come prepared to get in the river, please wear closed toed shoes, no flip flops or croc-like shoes.
