Kenyon's Brown Family Enviromental Center Presents Atlatl Workshop
Bob and Cheryll Berg of Thunderbird Atlatl will demonstrate the form and function of the atlatl, one of mankind's earliest, most effective hunting tools. It was first put to use up to 30,000 years ago and is still used around the globe today. See the building of an atlatl and dart, as well as hafting, flintknapping, cordage making and more. Feel free to drop-in anytime if you aren't able to attend the entire workshop.
