Founders Food Hall Grand Opening
The Knox County Land Bank and their many partners, are pleased to invite the community to join them for the Grand Opening of Founders Food Hall on Tuesday, June 30, at 11:00 a.m.
This project represents the transformation of the former Mount Vernon News building into a vibrant community gathering place featuring locally owned food and beverage vendors, entertainment, and new opportunities for connection in the heart of downtown Mount Vernon.
The program will include brief remarks from project partners, including representatives from JobsOhio, One Columbus, and the Knox County Land Bank, followed by a ribbon-cutting and tours of the facility.
While the day marks the official opening of Founders Food Hall, it is also an opportunity to celebrate the broader revitalization of the building and the partners who have chosen to call it home. We are proud to recognize Mount Vernon Nazarene University's HW Hub, Otto Insurance Group, and Sponsler Automotive, whose presence helps ensure the building serves as a center for innovation, entrepreneurship, and community activity.
Founders Food Hall is the result of a collaborative effort among public, private, and nonprofit partners who shared a vision for revitalizing a historic downtown property and creating a destination that will serve residents and visitors for years to come.
Please join them as they celebrate this exciting milestone for our community.
