A Farewell to Jim

We really don't want to make this announcement, but Jim is retiring from public performances as of Jan 1, 2013. This will be the last time he graces our stage at Vino, and we can't believe we'll never hear those crystalline notes of liquid smoke fire across our synapses as Jim once again blows our minds with music that only he can make. Improvisational genius, mixed with mastery of the acoustic guitar, makes for a one of a kind experience in a one of a kind place. The first time Jim tuned up in the Great Room, he beamed a smile of someone who had found the perfect companion for his sound. He unleashed a musical onslaught that left jaws dropped and minds grasping for words to describe what went down.
