Tiny Predators: Dragonflies, Spiders, and Other Small Hunters

Some of the most impressive hunters at the BFEC are small enough to miss if you are moving too fast. Join us as we search for dragonflies, spiders, insects, and other tiny predators while exploring how they hunt, build traps, ambush prey, and survive in the prairie, forest edge, and wetland habitats around us. Through outdoor exploration, close observation, and hands-on investigation, we’ll discover that the small world is full of speed, strategy, camouflage, and surprise.
