Classic Lego Robotics July 13-17 9am-noon in the SPI programming space 225 S. Main St., Mount Vernon, OH For entering grades 6-8.
NASA loves robots. Factories love robots. Especially, Middle school students love robots. This workshop uses classic Lego robot models, including walking robots, scorpions and factory robot arms to focus on programming the robot to make choices based on its environment, whether the assembly line or the surface of Mars. Taught by a high school robotics coach, Eric Vanderhoof, it will also prepare students for high school competition in First Tech Challenge.
Cost to attend $80
Discount for yearly SPI Spot members $10
Need based scholarships available.
