Join us for a ribbon cutting celebration for the Fredericktown Engineering & Manufacturing Academy at Fredericktown Local Schools, on Friday, February 27th at 10 am.
The project began nearly one year ago when their dedicated STEAM educators envisioned an opportunity to better connect classroom learning with real-world applications. Through their efforts, and with the generous support of a Battelle grant focused on K–12 STEAM initiatives, Fredericktown Local Schools is now home to the first Manufacturing and Engineering Lab of its kind in Knox County.
This innovative learning space represents a significant investment in workforce development, career readiness, and regional economic growth. Designed to provide students with hands-on experiences aligned to manufacturing, engineering, and applied technologies, the lab will help prepare students with the skills and competencies needed to succeed in today’s and tomorrow’s workforce.
This program is intentionally designed to grow into a regional resource, strengthening established partnerships between education, business and industry, and community stakeholders throughout Knox County and the surrounding area.
The Fredericktown High School is located at 111 Stadium Drive, Fredericktown.
All are welcome to attend to help us celebrate!
