Join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony, celebrating the 2nd Anniversary of Camp Because I said I would, located at 3483 McCament Road, Walhonding, Ohio.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 11:15 am.

Who Should Attend?

• Community members passionate about character, commitment, and positive change
• ​Past and current supporters of because I said I would (donors, volunteers, partners)

• Local nonprofit and youth development professionals

• Civic leaders, educators, and school counselors

• Families and individuals interested in Camp and its mission

What to bring or wear: 

• Comfortable casual clothing suitable for outdoor activities

• Walking shoes or sneakers (there may be light walking or tours of the camp)

• Optional: Lawn chair or picnic blanket if you’d like to relax on the grounds
