Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County Presents Rhythm and Rhyme Sensory Storytime
The Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County will host a Rhythm & Rhyme Sensory Storytime on the first Saturday of the month at 1:00 p.m. beginning September 6 and ending December 6.
Children up to age 8 with special needs, and their families, are invited to come enjoy a relaxed family experience at the library while listening to a story. The children may move around the room and verbalize without their parents worrying about whether they are bothering others.
Time will be provided following the program for families to socialize. The program is offered in cooperation with the Autism Society of Ohio and the Knox County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
