Habitat for Humanity of Knox County Announces Habitat Homecoming 2026 and Bourbon Raffle
Community celebration will bring supporters together to celebrate Habitat’s mission while raising funds to build homes, community and hope in Knox County
MOUNT VERNON, OHIO — Habitat for Humanity of Knox County invites the community to come together for Habitat Homecoming 2026, an evening celebrating the people, partnerships and generosity that make affordable homeownership possible in Knox County.
Habitat Homecoming will take place Thursday, November 12, 2026, at The Gallagher Centre, with doors opening at 5:00 p.m. The event will bring together Habitat supporters, volunteers, homeowners, community partners and friends for an evening centered around Habitat’s mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope.
More than simply a fundraising event, Habitat Homecoming is an opportunity to celebrate the impact Habitat for Humanity has made throughout Knox County and the individuals and organizations who make that work possible.
Bourbon Raffle Offers Chance to Win Rare and Highly Sought-After Bottles
As part of this year’s fundraising efforts, Habitat for Humanity of Knox County is also hosting its 2026 Bourbon Raffle, featuring 10 prize packages and an impressive collection of rare and highly sought-after bourbons.
The raffle’s Winner’s Choice Grand Prize gives the winner the opportunity to select between two exceptional bottles: O.F.C. Vintage Bourbon or Michter’s 20 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon both valued at over $2000 each.
Additional prize packages include bottles from King of Kentucky, Blanton’s, Bomberger’s Declaration, Stagg, Angel’s Envy, Weller and more, including an entire eight-bottle Blanton’s collection and a Blanton’s Takara Red from Japan.
The Bourbon Raffle drawing will take place during Habitat Homecoming, beginning at approximately 7:00 p.m. on November 12.
Raffle ticket holders do not need to be present to win. The drawing will also be broadcast live on Habitat for Humanity of Knox County’s Facebook page so supporters can follow along from anywhere.
Proceeds from Habitat Homecoming and the Bourbon Raffle support Habitat for Humanity of Knox County’s work to help local families achieve strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.
Habitat homeowners partner with the organization throughout the homeownership process, completing sweat equity, participating in homebuyer and financial education, and purchasing their homes with an affordable mortgage. Donations, sponsorships, volunteer labor and community support help make those opportunities possible.
