Coffee With Connections

Come have coffee with our KCH Speech Therapists. Outpatient speech therapy at KCH focuses on restoring communication, thinking, swallowing and functional independence for adults in the community. We work with a wide range of deficits and disabilities including but not limited to Parkinson's, head/neck cancer, traumatic brain injury, stroke and much more. Our cognitive rehabilitation program focuses on helping individuals improve memory, attention, problem-solving, executive functioning, and safety awareness. Therapy, no matter the type, is created to be practical, targeting real-life skills such as managing daily tasks, returning to work, and increasing independence, while also addressing speech, language, voice, and swallowing needs as appropriate.
